Gladwell has been included in the TIME 100 Most Influential People list and touted as one of Foreign Policy’s Top Global Thinkers. His new book—Talking to Strangers —the first book he has written in six years—will help us think about how to create a better future for our communities as he addresses how we talk to strangers and where those conversations often go wrong.

SEPTEMBER 27-30: Francis Chan: Letters to the Church

Francis Chan is an American preacher and the former teaching pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, CA. Currently, Francis is planting churches in the San Francisco area and has a countrywide discipleship movement, Multiply, with David Platt. Francis will deliver a talk on how we can create a better future in and through the church.
