Q is a singularly important annual event both for its content, which is eclectic, unpredictable, and challenging, and for its form, which demands the highest levels of excellence from both speakers and participants. I wouldn't miss it.
Q was a fabulous opportunity to connect with courageous and innovative people who are truly shaping our culture and our world.
Those who believe in this new Christianity want to make clear that they are not abandoning Christianity's core principals but finding a new way of engaging with the world.
Gabe Lyons…is emblematic of the transformation among many younger evangelicals...heading a loose “collective” dedicated to teaching evangelicals to shape culture through other means, including media and the arts.
Everyone I met was exceptionally intelligent, kindhearted and creative. Thanks again for putting this conference together. It will remain in my mind the archetype for what a positive, well-designed conference should be.
Hosted by Rebekah Lyons, Q co-founder and author of Freefall to Fly, and Roxanne Wieman, editor of Q Ideas.
The vision of Q is a simple one that inspires powerful outcomes. We bring together challenging ideas and a community of leaders into a space to delve into rich conversation. The experience is designed to connect like-minds for solving problems and moving the common good forward.
Our method of learning is simple: exposure, conversation, and collaboration. By bringing together leaders from the different channels of culture: media, education, politics, arts and entertainment, business, the social sector and the church - we all grow.

OVERFLOW SEATING: Due to the high interest, our live event space is full. However, we have worked with our venue to provide a limited number of 40 overflow seats that can view the event on three widescreen digital televisions. For the discounted price of only $179, you will still receive the full Q experience of gathering around tables with other women to learn, interact and respond to each of the twelve 18 -minute Q Talks. The overflow area is just outside the doors of the main event space and shares the same coffee, refreshments and common area as all of the other event attendees. Join us at The Atrium at 61st and Broadway.
If your schedule doesn't allow you to be with us in person, we still want to share the experience with you wherever you are located. There is still a way you can benefit from Q Women & Calling. For only $79, you can watch the live event online. Included with your registration is on-demand access to the video recordings of the Q Talks that will be presented on November 15th in New York City. This is a great option that allows you to watch the live event online as well as take in the talk at your own pace afterwards, especially if you aren't able to dedicate the entire day to the event in one session.
Q Focus | Women & Calling takes place at The Atrium at American Bible Society in Manhattan. Because we understand the cost of traveling and staying in New York City, we've compiled a few nearby hotel options.
Q does not endorse any of the above organizations or those accessed via links. These are merely suggestions. Please exercise good judgment.
There are a few key characteristics we believe all of our participants possess; First, a desire to be informed and exposed to current culture and the conversations shaping our public discourse. Second, the desire to be restorers, faithfully bringing the love and creativity infused by the Gospel in whatever occupation they hold. And thirdly, they hold the view that it's a Christian responsibility to renew culture and promote human flourishing for all people in our society.
Q Focus will begin at 9:00 am on Friday November 15th (Registration begins at 8 am) and conclude at 5:00 pm that afternoon. We will not be making a more specific schedule for this event public. Lunch will occur around 12:30 pm. Please assume all other times will be filled with programming and collaboration. All times are tentative and subject to change.
Food is not included in the price. Lunch and Dinner time are great opportunities to enjoy the numerous restaurants in Columbus Circle and meet new friends that continue the conversations taking place inside the venue.
Yes. Each participant is responsible for his or her own transportation to the event venue each day. The nearest subway station is A, C, D, B or 1 train to Columbus Circle.
Yes, most of our presenters join as learners for the day. Some can only be with us for their presentation, but many will be available throughout the day for questions and interaction.
