Paradoxically, the harder we try to produce adults similar to great thinkers of the past, the further we move from the style of education that produced them. Some are now advocating a return to “classical education,” a system that teaches kids to utilize reason, logic, and rhetoric rather than modern techniques relying on technology and random sequences.
